Share Your Story, Anonymously, in Minutes

Dial to Reset was created to give people a place to talk about what they’ve been through. Putting your experience into words can help you process it, release what you’ve been carrying, and remind someone else that they are not alone.

Share your story, whether it’s about trauma, abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, grief, heartbreak, toxic relationships, or the process of finding your way forward. If you’ve made it through something difficult, you can also share what helped you, what you learned, or what you would do differently.

Every submission is completely anonymous. With your permission, your story may be shared on our pages, where members of our community can respond, offer encouragement, and share their own experiences. If you share your story, follow our page to see the conversation that follows. In situations involving serious abuse, violence, or ongoing toxic cycles, our support team may also reach out with appropriate support or resources.

Stories Shared With Us

These are personal stories shared by members of our community, covering experiences of pain, trauma, relationships, loss, growth and everything in between. Shared anonymously, each story offers a glimpse into an experience someone else may understand all too well.

“My father used to beat my mother, and I thought I had forgotten about it until I started dating.”

Growing up around violence changed the way I understood love and conflict. I didn’t realize how much of my childhood I was carrying into my relationships until I found myself reacting to things that reminded me of home.

“I stayed with him for seven years because I kept believing the next time would be different.”

The insults became threats, the threats became violence, and somehow I kept finding reasons to stay. Leaving was only the beginning. I had to learn how to trust myself again after spending years being told that everything was my fault.

“He married someone else three months after telling me I was the love of his life.”

I never expected our relationship to end the way it did, and I definitely didn’t expect to find out he was already planning a future with someone else. What hurt most was realizing how much of my future I had built around someone who had already moved on.

“I was sexually abused as a child, and for years I blamed myself for something I didn’t understand.”

I carried the shame into adulthood without telling anyone what had happened. It took years before I understood that what happened was never my fault, and that speaking about it could be part of finally letting go of the blame.
